The Back Ice Tour.

Two weeks from today, the Black Ice Tour makes its triumphant return to North America when it rolls into Vegas, but this week the band continued to enjoy some time off while continuing to prep for the shows. Good luck to all those who entered to win tickets, whether you donned a superhero cape and did the duck walk or dubbed yourself "The Weirdo" and dressed up in a questionable "costume." While you wait to find out if you won, the Acca Dacca action just keeps coming.

For European fans, this summer's list of Black Ice Tour dates grew even larger, as the band added two June dates in Spain to the calendar--one on June 26th in Seville and another on June 28th in Bilbao. Tickets for both these shows go on sale April 22nd at 10am (local time). As usual, at the same time that tickets go on sale to the general public, ACDC.com will hold a members-only Fan Club Onsale from a separate allotment with reserved seats and general admission tickets for these shows. Fans to AC/DC: Change Your Set List

Fanas of AC/DC have issued a formal complaint to the band via to opportunity the gig setlist. The Black Ice tour has featured the same songs in the same order since the start of the tour.
From the site:
"On the recent Black Ice World Tour, during which some of us having travelled across Europe, the United States and flown between the two continents (with flights already booked to Australia to catch the Australian leg), we have listened to you play the same great songs each and every night. We absolutely appreciate every song you play, but we can't help but wonder if the band is getting a little bored of playing the same songs night after night.
Are you aware there are thousands of fans just like us who have spent months discussing the Black Ice World Tour setlist, every one of them hoping that the band will play something other than songs geared towards casual fans? - the sort of fans that put money in your pockets, but who don't have the same level of passion for your music as us. They may cheer at the concerts, they may go home happy... but they only came to hear Thunderstruck. They don't eat, sleep and shit AC/DC like we do.
As the greatest band on Earth, we think it is a travesty that you are not playing songs that are dear to yourselves and your long term loyal fans - the songs from albums that critics wrote off, but which we both know are some of the finest from your back catalog.
So, we'd like you to consider changing the setlist. We won't be rude and say "play this" or "don't play that" - we'll leave it to you to decide - surprise us!
Please give us, and the many thousands like us, some hard hittin', heavy rockin' tracks that we, the true long term fans of AC/DC, know and love.

AFL over Etihad concerts, AC/DC settles dispute

LEGENDARY rockers AC/DC will play their Black Ice tour concerts at Etihad Stadium in February after the date was previously thrown into doubt because of AFL objections.
The current signing of a new contract between the story and the stadium has allowed AC/DC to go ahead with the three Melbourne gigs on February 11, 13 and 15.
The AFL had previously objected saying those dates would clash with a possible pre-season NAB Cup match.
The league and the stadium announced their new deal today, worth an extra $5.5 million to AFL clubs over a 15 year period.
The deal elevated the minimum number of matches to be played at the venue but also gives the stadium's operators biggest flexibility to stage non football events, such as concerts like AC/DC.
The Aussie rockers have sold 180,000 tickets for their Melbourne shows.

AC/DC Rock N Roll Train Live at Wachovia Arena

This should be a cracking rock band for the best rock festival - AC/DC at Reading Festival. They're rumored pretty much each year though! With a world tour due soon for their new album, Black Ice, we'd say it was a good shout.

Would be good to listen to the classics and show other pretenders how to properly rock out. Reading Festival 2009 needs some classic rock and roll. Their new album Black Ice has been received well. Who knows, maybe AC/DC will play at long last?
