Music legends AC/DC to rock Kelvingrove


AC/DC this time returning to Glasgow for an exhibition at Kelvingrove Art Gallery.

Around 450 items linked to the Australian band will be able to see by the fans that increase a massive following in Scotland due to the members' tartan roots.

The exhibition will commence in September and will go on until the end of January 2012,originally originated in Australia.

It is the first time it has left Australia and Kelvingrove is its only European date.

It will also feature an early version of axe hero Angus Young's signature schoolboy outfit, one of his guitars and the AC/DC stage-show cannon.

George Redmond, councillor and chairman of Glasgow Life said that : “Our policy has always been to try and engage new audiences with Kelvingrove whenever we can and AC/DC’s enormous popularity and well-known links to Scotland will continue that tradition.”

Over 35 years of experience they have able to sold more than 200 million albums and have had several mammoth hits including Back in Black, Whole Lotta Rosie and Thunderstruck.
